What we are building
Momntie’s started as a working poultry farm, and that is still the foundation. But over the past year the idea has grown into something wider: an ecosystem that helps people engage with farming in whatever way makes sense for them.
Some of that ecosystem is running today. Our layer and kienyeji flocks are in production, and the Momntie’s Farm App is used every day to keep track of collections, feed, flock health and sales.
Others are still taking shape. Farm Before You Farm, Rent-A-Farm and Circle of Care are directions we are actively exploring, and we are talking to people interested in each of them. We would rather say that plainly than present plans as programmes.
We will document the journey here — what we try, what works, and what we learn along the way.
